An article in the New York Times based on a study in a Medical Journal says that medical journalists may receive payments from Drug Companies in the form of “awards ” for their medical writings. One of the journalists, Ben Goldacre who writes anti-homeopathy diatribes has received such awards.
“Journalism awards consisting of cash prizes and all-expense-paid trips given out by drug companies are among the more “astonishing” financial ties between journalists and drug companies, the authors said.”

Also other bloggers, have been linked to Drug Companies such as the gimpyblog, a hard hitting anti-complimentary medicine blog which regularly attacks homeopaths and homeopathic associations and accuses complimentary medicine practitioners of murder and calls women homeopaths “c#nts”.
Homeopathy has many supporters in the scientific and journalistic community but any one speaking on behalf of homeopathy or doing studies of homeopathy are regularly attacked by Drug Company sponsored journalists and bloggers.

It’s sad when money and greed color one’s mind to such an extent that the preponderence of infinite distillations reflecting the true self are hidden and in many cases scarred irrevocably. It is in such states of “Geistesverwirrung” that Goldacre and Gimpyblog sow Dragons teeth and watch as mighty armies of pharma-led allopathic terminators reek havock with the righteous forces of light and homeopathy. But we have the moral high ground. We will prevail. We will neither give in, nor shall we ever surrender.

Ben Goldacre, a psychiatrist is one of the attackers of homeopathy and also attacks those who question the safety of vaccines and leads an attack on those who question the interests of drug companies in modern medicine and how that affects our children’s health.
He is charasmatic and has a slew of followers. He gets them riled up and skeptical of anyone who questions drug companies and their therapies and vaccines and attacks those who practice alternatives.
I have some very problematic journalistic integrity issues with this psychiatrist and his followers who defend the hiding of the facts in regard to the maiming of children with a vaccine. This should be questioned as to its safety. He also attacks alternatives with little knowledge of them and absolutely no research into them including providing false evidence about them.
